How GPS Tracking Works
The below diagram will give you a very simple view of how GPS Tracking works.
- The tracker uses signals from a minimum of 4 satellites to gain a an accurate position.
- The position is then sent via the telecommunications network to the online solution. The data sent also includes other information such as time, speed, altitude, sensor readings and alarms.
- The clients access the data and visual mapping display through a secure Internet connection using either PC/Laptop or Smart Phone.
